What kind of plugs and wires are you all using?

This is sort of like a poll...... I was wondering what all the CRX drivers use in the way of spark plus and iginition wire sets?

What do you think the best ones are for the car?

Has anyone tried the new type Denso Iridium plugs?

Are JDM style Triple Core Spark Ignition wires good?

Thanks!

Re: What kind of plugs and wires are you all using?

NGK (or stock) plugs and wires work best supposedly.

I'm using pregapped Bosch Platinum +2? (3.99 each) plugs and Jacobs Electronics 8.5mm wires until I get new wires...

I'm using NGK V-power with stock wires. The NGK's are some really good stuff.

Re: What kind of plugs and wires are you all using?

I got some of those clicker things for lighting a gas grill, and I hired some hamsters to push them in the correct firing order. Adds like 50 HP to the wheels...

But for real, I had ngk and some APC 8mm wires on my a6. Not sure whats in the b16 i had them out but forget what they are.

Re: Re: What kind of plugs and wires are you all using?

Stock Honda ignition systems can support 400HP so unless you have a highly modified engine all that $200 Nology wire shit is pointless.

I use MSD 8.5mm wires(upgraded ignition) w/ NGK plugs. For a stock ignition system a $20.00 set of NGK wires from summit and stock grade plugs will do just fine.

Dyno tests comparing plugs
