Rear self leveling shocks
I need rear self leveling air shocks for my 96 Mazda MPV. They are too expensive to buy from dealer, approx. $725/set. Where can I get a cheaper set. This is way too expensive. I would even buy them used or reconditioned. Can mine be repaired or can I just install regular shocks and not use the self leveling system? I need something ASAP. They have been bad for awhile. I live in Indiana. Thank you.

RGENE, I am going to try replacing the coil springs from a non load leveling mpv. I can get the two springs from a junk yard for about $30, and then just get some regular shocks.

Re: Rear self leveling shocks
I put Gabrial air shocks on mine. They are working just fine at 75.00 a pair. I had to swap the air connection from the old shocks to the new, but at a 600 dollar savings it was worth it! If I remember right I bought them at Advance Auto

Re: Rear self leveling shocks
Feeling the sting of OEM ... has anyone heard of the standard airshock mod for the self leveling system? Any specifics would be greatly appreciated.
