Dreaming of Death..

Latelly I have been dreaming of my own death. I dreamed that my familly and I drove off a bridge and plumeted to our death. These dreams are usually verry vivid and scare the crap out of me. I actually stayed dreaming as I died. It is wierd how I can remember feeling the forces and sounds as we were falling off the bridge and tumbling thru the air to our death. It is verry hard to go back to sleep after you wake up from a dream like that. I remember trying to ask God to save us, save my soul, and trying to prepare my self for sure death, but was unable to get the words out. Even though I am not a verry relligious person.

What would you do in the last few seconds before you hit the ground.

just accept your death.. relax and let go, realize that theres nothing to fear, just give in. The more you pray for help and cling to your existence, the more its gonna hurt. You couldn't get the words out because you weren't supposed to, what you were trying to say had no meaning.

don't worry about god saving your soul... your soul is eternal, this isnt the first time you've been alive, and its not the last. Everyone dies, and theres absolutely nothing to fear about it.

a good movie to watch is Jacob's Ladder, there was a neat quote in the movie, went something along the lines of; either angels will release you or demons will tear you away.

I think everyone has a period where they have alot of "falling" dreams, whether its a car over a cliff, bicycle off a mountain, or just dropping out of the sky. Once I went skydiving, I never had another one - I had faced that "demon" and conquered it.

By the way, skydiving was the biggest single thrill I've experienced.

Actually, when you dream of your own death you aren't actually dreaming about your own demise. Dream dictionaries say that when someone dreams of their own death it means that they are going through changes in life. The old you has died and the new you has been born. Kinda like a snake shedding its own skin. Something like that.

That could be true. I have been going thru lots of life changes. I moved out, and am now living on my own. The first night I moved out I dreamed that there was a hole in my finger, (kind of like the hole in the door nob to your room, circular hole) and I thought my finger was locked. So I stuck a key in it and all of a sudden my whole body went into a muscle spasm, and I woke up with every muscle contracting at once (felt like).

I have f**ked up dreams all the time.

Just last week, i had a dream that i was on an operating table, and a dr was injecting a needle in my face, then he proceeded to slowly cut a straight line from my forehead, to my chin-i remember how it felt in the dream, weird sh*t..

Anyway, the night before, i was switching the tv channels while i was dosing off to sleep, and on the spanish channel they where showing pictures of children with deformed faces, then i switched to HBO and they had dr baden showing an autopsy..

Thats where it came from.

i had this awesome dream one time where i was running down this huge slide or ramp then as i went off the end of it i was flying through the air. i saw the ground begin to move up towards me as i fell and i thought it was going to hurt but i just hit the ground running when the Gran Turismo 3 cheat thing kicked in and i was running at like 500 mph. it was pretty cool.

If it ever comes to the point where I know that I'm going to die in a few seconds(like a great fall or high speed crash or of the like) I'll probably start cheering like I'm at the biggest SuperBowl of all times. haha you may doubt me but I prob would.

you guys have some weird dreams..

my grandma used to always tell me when i have a dream that im falling in... it means that im growing.. lol

but anyways, from time to time i have a weird dream about a 3-D kind.. flat surface.. and im running across it being chased by giant black balls..

its really weird.. but once my friend described to be the same exect dream... had me going...
how can 2 poeple have the same exact dream..
