97 GP GTP 187K miles Leaking Antifreeze ?

Noticed approx 1 oz of antifreeze under my car this morning after parking it hot last night.

The location of the leak is on the DRIVERS SIDE to the farthest drivers side location of the radiator, just under the anti freeze resivoure.

The question is: are there any inherent problems with the GP radiator at the location of the leak? Don't want to change the entire radiator if I can help it. Hoses are fine.

Wanted to check if anyone had problem with leak is same area and what it may be, before I send it to the mechanic.

Thanks,
GPme

Check the overflow hose. It could be loose or split. You could also have a crack in the overflow bottle itself. Remove it, clean it out and fill with water to check for leaks.

Do your engine overheats, it not, it could be doing what mine was doing. I say make sure the resivoure is not filled all the way to the top and top off the radiator with the anti-freeze it lost. Then try driving the car, if the resivoure starts boiling and fills back up to the top, that means you need a new radiator, try doing that first and see what happens.
