Talking 2 Ferraris

A yellow 360 Modena and what I think was a red 456. I just saw them both on the freeway this morning.

That's the second 360 Modena I've seen and neither was red (the other was silver). Did Ferrari forget to send red ones to California?

Do they make Red 456's? I thought it was a Silver/Black and Bue car.

Beats me. I didn't recognize it, so I found a site that had a handful of pictures and took my best guess. I saw the front end the best, and I think I'd recognize it again. The taillights were the usual quartet of roundlets. Whatever it was, it wasn't just red, it was Ferrari red!

I've never seen so much as a pic of a Ferrari Red 456.

Tahnk-you for clearing that up. That looks more of a wine red colour. My room is Ferrari Red so I'd know. Also, on an unrelated topic, I was back in Montreal on the weekend and I saw maybe 10 Porsche 911's, a Sweet decked-out 930 Turbo and When we were sitting at an Intersection, A brand-new Ferrari 360 Modena Spyder pulled up on the other side. My heart skipped a beat! It was so wide and low. I didn't hear its scream but I got a good look. BTw, It was Silver like in the pics.

Once I take the time to hook my scanner up, I'll upload my pic of the red 456. It's Ferrari red. The pic was taken in a parking lot, it's actually a pic of an Aston Martin V8, but you can see the 456 in the background. Right beside a 348. Also, it shows you the true size of a 550 Maranello, since there is one of those in the pic too, right beside an Eagle Vision.

Correction: I think the car beside the Eagle is an F40, not a 550. It was a red 550 when I had arrived there, but this pic was taken about 45 minutes later, the 550 must have been moved and the F40 put in its place. Close examination of the back pillar, and just recently noticing the spoiler make me believe this.....

Anyway, here's the pic:

Yes. It was the same car that Enzo posted, but more red than maroon.

BTW, the day after I posted this I saw another yellow 360 Modena, on the same freeway, in the same area, but going the other direction. Probably the same guy. But anyway, that's three 360s I've seen, none red. Hmmmm...:flash:

Ya! Today I went to have lunch with My dad cause they had a Mini Car Show at his work. It was okay carwise only about 15 of them but they were prett good.It was pretty good cause every car's hood and doors were open so you could see them better. There was a 91' Acura NSX, 95ish Nissan 300ZX, 01' Porsche Boxster (2), 01' BMW M5, 70' Ford Mustang, 32' Ford (2), and a few other older Muscle cars. The best part of the show was when we went back home and Passed a sweet ass Ferrari Red 355 Berlinetta. I was going nuts! That's the second 355 I've actualy seen.

456 Colours/Colors

BTW, I have never seen a "Ferrari Red" 456 - I have seen black, silver, "wine", and an awesome blue (see below). If someone has a pic of a true Red 456, please post it - I'd love to see it. While we're talking Ferrari colors, I saw a dark green 550 Maranello (yes, one of the most beautiful cars ever conceived) on the Symbolic website and it was just.......wrong. It was a beautiful British Racing Green, but that just isn't a color I want to see a 550 in. If I can find some pics, I'll throw them in here.

Angry Well, crap!

Now, again, I'm not sure what it was. I got a look at the front end and the rear end, but not really from the side. I'm about 85% sure on the front end (I remember pop-up lights that weren't square-shaped) and about 50% on the back end (darn Ferrari and their one set of taillights.)

I felt bad for not doing my homework on this, so I went digging for pictures. I didn't find any red 456s, but now I can list what I think it wasn't:
  • '95 Ferrari 333 SP
  • '93 Ferrari 348 Spider
  • '00 Ferrari 360 Modena
  • '00 Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge
  • '01 Ferrari 360 Modena Spider
  • '91 Ferrari 512 TR
  • '01 Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pininfarina
  • '97 Ferrari 550 Maranello
  • '98 Ferrari F355 F1
  • '97 Ferrari F355 Spider
  • '91 Ferrari F40
  • '97 Ferrari F50
  • '98 Ferrari F50 GT
  • '94 Ferrari F512 M
  • '91 Ferrari Testarossa

Anything left? :flash:

hey Heep

In that pic, i'm pretty sure that the Ferrari closest to the eagle is a 348, then the one that is furthest away is a 550, but i'm not sure about the 550. i could be wrong, if i took that pic i would have forgotten about the black car and the eagle and went strait for the Ferrari's
