Go to LCengineering.com, they have 22re mods there almost anything that could be added onto a 22re is on their page. There prices are high sometimes, but you can at least see what type of mods you would prefer, then shop around. I've found good deals on Ebay

headers, weber carb ,crane ign. port polish head poss. turbo or supercharger if you want to dump a s load of cash or small block it

You can bolt a head from an old 20R engine and it will give you higher compression. Just be careful when you set the timing because it will no longer be a non-interference engine due to the lower head.

check out vortec superchargers. The V-5 should be perfect and would be easy to install with minimum fab.
