Misaligned Alternator belt shredding
Hey everyone =)
My Alternator belt is crooked-- when you put a ruler beside it (the belt) going from the water pump, you can tell--and it is shred on one side. When I bought my car it just had a new water pump put in so Im thinking maybe there is a spacer that they forgot to put in??? If anyone has ever experienced this I would be grateful for any advice. I can't afford to shred another belt its freezing out in NH !!!! =( (89 Accord se-i) |

Nevermind, It was a spacer that was placed on the wrong side of the alternator that was causing this--problem fixed.
