i love how people who seemingly have answers dont respond to read messages. but anyways ive been looking for a new bumper for a 86 gti. but i cant seem to find the "big bumper" im looking for. does anyone know if a bumper from a different model will fit, and if so, which???

thanks all who read and/or respond

Re: big bumper??

im pretty sure mk1 bumpers fit mk2 cars, and vice versa. as for big bumpers i saw them being sold online someplace but i forgot where, i'll post up if it comes back to mind. in the meantime, even tho im not sure if they ahve it or not.. check:

www.reigeretc.com (or was it rieger)
www.ecstuning.com
www.awetuning.com
www.parts4vws.com

im not sure if the above sites have much for mk1/mk2s, but its worth a shot
