Z24 Won't Start

Here's a question for you: I have a Z24 LS 2002 Cavalier and my car suddenly won't start! It has been taking slightly longer than normal to start lately, I chalked it up to getting pretty cold outside. But I drove it home from a restaurant one night and 7 hours later it just wouldn't start. I turn the key and it tries and tries but just doesn't turn over. My battery's doing alright, I hear the fuel pump, so I was thinking of checking the spark plugs, but I can't find them! Can someone give me some direction, please? Or ideas? It'd be so greatly appreciated! This car is my baby and it's so frustrating not being able to figure out what's wrong with her!
