Zenki vs. Kouki

how do i tell the difference between a Zenki turo fc and a kouki turbo fc?

I know that the turbo in the kouki makes power at lower rpms and the limited slip is a viscous and not a cluch type but how can i tell by looking at it. will i need to check the vin?

these are japanese car, we got other tags here.
they are labeled as S4 and S5, depending on the year
refer to the FAQ thread for spec and production dates.
S4 LSD's are clutch, S5's are viscous.

hey im just trying to learn like im sure you did at one time. dont get so high and mighty because I dont know what an s4 or s5 is. I read both those names on this forum.

S4 = zenki = 86 to 88, S5 = kouki = 89 to 91.

but to anwser his question. I think the S5 aka Kouki takes it by the nicer body , moldings ,bumpers etc etc. and by lighter rotors etc etc = more horses sooo overal the S5 wins!

ah, but you can't beat the zenki OMP... all mechanical baby. and the zenki tails. I dont know why everyone is all jizzing over s5 tails.. i'm persoanlly a fan of s4's.
