gears

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what size gears i have in my 99 v6 mustang. I am also wanting to know what size gears would be best for racing. thanks for any help

My buddy has an 00 6 cylinder. He said it came stock w/ 373s. But I personally don't know

The gears you have in your rear are 2.73's. Aftermarket would be 3.73's.

yea i was plannin on 3.73 for racing but didnt know what i already had thanks for the help

would 4.10 gears be to much because with my income tax money i am going to buy a supercharger and am getting ready to put in new rockers, lifters valves and cam soon

Is this for a v6 motor? I would think that would be too much. If you are going PA on a V8 373 is plenty of gear.
