4wd not working help!!!!!!!!

91 front driver side axle spins but not the wheel, passenger side front axle does nothing! any ideas?????

Sounds like the hubs are wore out to me. We had a problem with our 4x4 not working. We changed out automatic hubs over to manual for 180.00 alot cheaper than keeping it automatic.
Do the 4x4 lights come on when you push the buttons? or can you hear it trying to engage?

Yeah sounds like hubs. If you want to stay with automatic hubs, try your local junk yards or try Ebay. Good Luck

yes the lights come on and i know its engaging, i replaced the electric motor already

That's what ours did. The front hubs would engage then under any kind of strain they would pop out. I checked at a junk yard for used automatic hubs and they wanted 100.00 a piece for them. A guy on here told me about a web site called 4wheelparts.com and I got the manual hubs and conversion kit for 170.00. It's not hard to change over as long as you go step by step.
