Anyone help me out?

I have a 1988 Acura Integra 3dr 5 spd with ~251,000 miles.
Runs great, but obviously a lot of wear and tear. Inpection is due by 12/31/04 and should pass with ease (just had 4 new tires put on and ceramic brake pads), but will probably have to shell out $400 for a new catalytic converter for emissions.

I am 2nd owner and bought it when it had 88,000 miles. It starts up all the time-never any problems.

Thing is I know it wont last forever, so what can I do with it? It would cost more to get it to pass emissions + the cost to advertise then I would get someone to buy it. I've had to get some parts for it and they go for an arm & a leg, so it has to be worth something to someone somewhere?

Should I just junk it or is there a way I can get a couple hundred for it somewhere?
