1990 LeSabre-Too SLOW!!!
Iv'e been searching for performance parts for this engine for weeks and all I can come up with is: Computer Chip :
K&N Filter or possibly...Nitrous??? Uh Uh to the nitrous! Anyone know of other major upgrades besides hauling the engine out and giving it to a race shop? (Along with my right arm!!!) Any help would be appreciated, thanks Wally

Re: 1990 LeSabre-Too SLOW!!!
Headers and turbo can be added. If you add a turbo, you can change the air breather assembly so air is forced in. The headers are a little bit more expensive than normal for the 3800, so keep that in mind. If you can find a junker that has a turbo, it would be easier to swap the motor and computer out. Might find one on a Pontiac, a Park Avenue, or a Regal.

Wally,
How much do you want to spend? You might want to look at swapping in a Series I 3800 supercharged engine. You can get one out of a 1992-1994 Park Avenue Ultra, along with others. You can go to www.l67swap.com for more information. |
