Fog lights

I just bought a '00 cavalier Z24 and the first time I washed it one of the fog lights filled with water and burnt out. How would I go about fixing this problem?

Re: Fog lights

WEll first off make sure the lense isnt craked or broken in anyway. then make sure the bulb is securly put into place and it will be water tight. so if you find a break or a crack I would consider buying a new one

Re: Fog lights

If you can't find cracks and/or the bulb is secure, you might see if there is a way to take the foglight apart and seal the seams with silicone. Other than that, like Jayson said, you might be better off buying new ones. You can probably find aftermarket ones that fit and are cheaper than stock. Good luck.
