NO-Xplode

Ive been taking NO-Xplode by BSN for a week or so now, and it will usually give me headaches when i am lifting. gives me slight tremors also. anyone here have any experience with this product? if not, could you read its ingredients at www.advantagesupplements.com for me and give me your opinion. thanks.

Re: NO-Xpode

I don't see any actual ingredients that would necessarily cause headaches and defintely not tremors... except caffine. it doesn't tell you exactly how many mg's of caffine are in the product, but if you are sensitive to caffine and other stimulants this could defintely cause headaches and "tremors". caffine is also a diuretic which will cause you to loose water, and creatine is known to cause dehydration because it forces water into your muscle cells. dehydration can cause headaches as well... drink at least a gallon of water a day. i have a feeling this is your problem. keep us posted on how it works out.

p.s. i just started using BSN's Nitrix a few days ago, im not sure if i like it or not, i'll tell you in a couple weeks whether it was worth the money or not.

I only drink water and milk, and occasionally gatorade or orange juice. Id say i drink at least a gallon of water per day, but i usually dont get much of that in the morning. most of it i get after lifting. need to change that though, try to drink more water earlier in the day. Im about to get back on EAS Phosphagen HP and just mix in like half servings of NO-Xplode to it. Thanks for the help.

Re: NO-Xpode

theoretically you're supposed to drink your body weight(lbs.) in oz. of water each day.

example: if you weigh 180lbs. you should drink 180oz. of water... around 1 1/2 gallons.

So if you weigh 360 pounds you would have to drink 3 gallons of water? This I gotta see.

Re: NO-Xpode

yea i know, this whole obesity "epidemic" is messing up things i suppose. thats why i said "theoretically". plus if you weigh 360 lbs. you have worse things to worry about than dehydration.

It increases NO synthesis in body. NO relaxes blood vessel walls and thus increases blood blow. This allows for more blood flow carrying nutrients and oxygen to your muscles. This stuff also contains some creatine, vitamen B for energy, unfortunately caffein for energy too. Made to increase pumps. Do a search for "nitric oxide in the body" in a search engine to learn more.

The morning is THE most important time to drink water. You're body has just gone anywhere from 5 to 9 hours without consuming a single bit of water. In the meantime, your muscles have been repairing themselves and you've been losing water through breathing and perspiration, so your body has just about completely used all its water supply. First thing when you wake up: Drink a big full glass of water. Even if you don't feel thirsty, you need it. You'll feel a world of difference after doing that for a week or two.

Re: NO-Xpode

The headache thing is probably related to the supplement. But make sure you are breathing right when lifting weights, it can give you a headache if you don't.
