Question coolant light

I have a 95 eagle talon ESI with 150000 miles on it now. the coolant lights comes on(the one that looks like a house)...kinda...it usually flickers under 2k RPM and after that it stays on...as long as im giving it gas. ok i checked the coolant level and it was fine. the problem just started today and its been really cold and a lil snowy(im from WV) can anyone tell me what it could be???

Re: coolant light

I'm not from up north, but I know that there are different degrees of coolants you can buy. Maybe your coolant is not resistant enough to the cold and is getting too thick.

Re: coolant light

Does the car overheat??? Take it to Autozone and have the scan the check engine light and post the code.
