01 quad cab - mysteriously quits at stop sign

I have a 01 quad cab with the 4.7 v8 with 53000 miles. I've developed a problem were once daily, usually when the engine is warm, when you stop at a stop light the truck decides to stop running. I put it in neutral and it starts up again with no problems. Once the engine is fully warm it doesn't happen. I've had it to the dealer four times to "fix" the problem. The dealership has been able to duplicate the problem. But to no solution. All the tests that they have run do not pull up any codes etc... They have now gone as far as replacing several sensors and as of last have just changed the on board computer. Still to no avail. The part that entertaines me is that now the dealership has no idea as to why it is stalling. They are hinting at the possibility of an electrical problem and are actively pursuing me to "trade out" of my vehicle into another one. Anybody heard of a situation like this or have any suggestions? Thanks much.

First off, those dummies humor me because they are avoid the obvious, you have a bad torque converter clutch solenoid. It should pop a check engine light. But if your truck stalls as you come to a stop, it's because the TCC is still applied. It's like driving a stick shift and coming to a stop without letting off the clutch, that clutch inside your torque converter is not releasing. If you decide to go back to those half-ass idiots who can't seem to find the problem, tell them to replace the torque converter clutch solenoid.
