Crazy car at my job being shipped... airport

ok its not about 240s... but i was drving a 240 to work so its ok!!!

I work at the airport for UPS and there is a plane that came in , its huge, one of these bad boys.. http://playground.sun.com/~patrickh/...2-2298_IMG.JPG

well at the place where i work we have a car that we are shipping it... its was Hitlers car... i dont even know the make of it, buts its some 4 door 30s models or something ...

i just came home from work like 10 minutes ago and im going back to work double shift because of crazy christmas packages you guy ship the last minute!! So ill grab my camera and i will see if i can go take a shot if it hasnt left yet, because some guy bought the car for something like $10,000,000 and hes going to put it in some Hitler museum...

I need to go burn that thing down!!!^%#$ whos with me!!!?

but its just crazy seeing something like that, kinda freaks you out you know... its like you look at it and you think... what?!! Hitler drove in this?!! wth!!!

i didnt get a chance to get in the plane to take the pictures!!! The plane left left,... it would have been awesome to have a picture of something like that... thats like the second exciting thing they shipped from here... the other one was a gian wale that went to this marine world down here in CA. We get basketball teams flying in here when they have a game with Sacramento Kings here, and the president flies in here a few times a year or so... its interested working at the airport This is the same airport where they had that one huge crash some 5 years ago when the plane crashed in a huge junk yard of cars while it was taking off... dont know if it was a big enough story to get to east coast... but it was a big enough story here in CAli .... we have ferarris here in buildings, kinda like fast and furious wear houses how they hide their cars lol... im gonna try and get my hands on one of those !!! muahaha .... ohh and another thing we had was , remember Kozinski's shack, that bomber guy? they shipped it here as well, and then they took it somewhere, i got to see that as well... pretty cool...

well hey this thread is leading nowhere about cars lol, but i couldnt get the pics of the car... maybe next time huh?

Sounds like a cool job? Did you just get the job or did you need some kind of diploma, and how much does it pay? lol

Re: Crazy car at my job being shipped... airport

its the kinda story where i started by mixing 2 cd players together when i was younger.. i seriously did that.. back when the backstreet boys and will smith were the shit.. haha.. but a year and a half ago, i went into one of my fave bars and asked if they needed anyone and they said yeah so i was all shit i need more cds.. so i bought a shitload and burnt a shitload (not anymore though) and got started there playing between the sets of the house band.. then my manager there moved to oliver's (carleton university's pub) and asked me to go with him.. so then i met the other djs there and one of them ended up putting in a good word to the guy who he works for from http://www.firstqualitysound.com and then i happened to meet the guy who actually ownes the company at my new job (he knows the owners very well).. so it was kind of a small work thing.. people knew people who knew people who knew me.. and vice versa.. so now i've got my name on advertisements for two bars in ottawa (the whiskey bar west and the lower deck) and i have a great time working.. so if anybody is ever in o-town, let me know, i'll get you vip.
so now i work for $125 at bars/clubs and $175 at weddings, private parties and that kinda thing..
and being a dj isn't as easy as some people think. you have to play the RIGHT songs in the RIGHT spots.. i beatmix too so thats even harder to keep the same beat for 5 hours.. its like golf.. once you're good at it, its fun as hell..
so with the minimum $375 i make per week along with regular pay from my other job, i'm paying off my bills and my car.. now that i have this great new job, i'll be looking for the 3" apexi n1 dual sometime in february! not to mention looking forward to injectors for my birthday!! (what an awkward gift but whatever)
