Ok now this is starting to piss me off first the freakin brake lines then the door lock not to mention every time you think you are ahead of the game something goes
91 s10 blazer well documented
i noticed today i have antifreeze leaking from somewhere about half way down the upper rad hose but not from the hose checked that and it was dry and tight new hose times 4 in a month/ tightened up the drain plug as that had fluid near it to this is on the side of the power steering pump no fluid leak on other side of rad so im puzzled as this as a new thermostat

Sounds like the rad is leaking, more specifically the rad end tanks. I have had the same trouble and now I have to get the rad re cored and checked. Sounds like the same thing.

Yeah it would be cheaper, but I don't want to really chance it. It will only cost me $120 to get it recored and pressure tested, and its as good as new. I need it to be reliable.

Re: Antifreeze leak

Buy brand new for $125 from the radiator barn with free shipping. Bought one for my 91 and getting ready to order one for my freaking leaking 93 now. Come with a lifetime warranty too.
Sounds like the plastic tank to core seal is leaking.

Re: Antifreeze leak

Yes i have heat like a beast and it gets to operating temperature and all. i might have confused you by that but yeh got heat have a new core in there and i replaced the upper rad hose 4 times in september because advance autoparts ones kept on rubbing and now i have it zip tied to the pulley bracket because the new hood doesnt close right but thats besides the point
