Computer Codes on95 Tracker

It says in the repair manual to get codes for a 95 Tracker use a jumper wire on connector by the battery, the only connector by batt. doesn't do any thing thank you for all the help.

had the same problem on my 94 tracker... once you jumper the small plug (by the battery) remove the left (or right) front dash speaker and flip the small switch you will find.. then turn the ignition on and your check engine will flash the codes.
