I test drove a 2005 coupe and when you hit the brakes on those things they aren't f-ing around. I never really had a problem with them, but when you go to do an emergency test, be ready.

Re: Touchy brakes?

LOL I loved it when infiniti did that test drive with us.

We slammed on the breaks and the car stopped like that! *snaps fingers*

Yes...touchy brakes

When I went to buy a car a few months ago I test drove everything in this class. Acural TL. BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, Mercedes C320 and last but not least the Infiniti G35 and fell in love with it as soon as I sat in it. I have to admit..both the gas and brakes are quite touchy and took some getting used to...so yes...I have to say brakes are quite touchy. Not just on my G35 but all the loaners I've received and also the FX 35 I drove too.

Re: Touchy brakes?

Almost 60K miles on my 2003 G-35 sedan and those touchy brakes have saved my a__ from ramming the guy in front of me numerous times in big city highway traffic. Always looking in the rear view mirror afraid the guy behind can't stop fast enough. I consider them the best vehicle brakes I've ever had.
