tire choices for the '99 Tacoma

My tires are shot and I've been buying cheapo tires for some time now. What better grade of tires have been used on this truck and how do folks make recommendations for the best tires, price considering, that I could buy for this truck. My truck, by the way, has 150k and is going exceedingly strongly.
I hate to venture into snake oil, but I have had remarkable results from draining a bottle of Techron conditioner, obtained from WallyWorld, into an empty tank and fill 'er up. This stuff has put to shame all the other magic potions recommended to spruce up your engine. I never believed in anything but Marvel Mysterious Oil,either, until this stuff came along.

Thanks, hope to hear from you folks pronto

I personally like BF Goodrich tires for my Tacoma. You can't go wrong with Michelins either.
