How much can you safely turbo a B18 to. ive heard not to go over 8psi on the stock pistons. And also how much hp will you have if your boosting 5-7 psi? thanks

Re: Turbo LS power?

i wouldn't boost more than 7 DD and 9 on the track. running 5-7 pounds should get you close to 200 hp, like 190ish i guess.

Re: Turbo LS power?

it depends on how big a turbo you are using, and theres a ton more factors, no real numbers can be given unless you give more info

Re: Turbo LS power?

power output, not boost pressure determines this. LS can hold 250whp. I've seen up to 13psi on stock bottom end, but i personally wouldn't go over 12psi on race day, 10psi daily

Re: Turbo LS power?

Fuel managment will determine this morso than anything else, but there is a shitload of factors.

I term this an impossible question.
