Question Dodge lover needs help.

Hey, another thing.

I was wondering what can I do to increase my trucks performance.
IE. Speed.
Replacement breaks
airfilter...etc
I was thinking about flowmaster but what do you guys think.

Re: Dodge lover needs help.

You could go flowmaster if you really need performance.. But it's gonna be expensive and ya probably won't get the best sound. True duals and turbo mufflers have served me plenty well. Also, there have been posts on this forum about homemade cold air intakes, ya might want to look into that.

Re: Dodge lover needs help.

If you put Flowmasters on, your truck will sound like all the rest of them. Whoever invented those things are probably laughing right now...

Re: Dodge lover needs help.

I've heard of guys putting a diesel exhaust on their gas engines, single exhaust but the 4" pipe works well. Couple it up with a good header.

Re: Dodge lover needs help.

Usually when guys put exhaust on their diesels they just straightpipe them, or put a small resonator on.

If you have a gas engine with dual exhaust, and big echo chambers, that will certainly help.

Volant has a good Cold air intake with a ram air attachment. I have had it for about 2 years and it seems to make a difference. It states you will gain about 18 horses, Who knows. It looks cool.
