WTF is this?

What is the Quad Module Driver Circuit? What does it do? Where is it at? Oh yeah it might help if yall knew what kind of vehicle it is. It is a 1990 Buick Century Limited 3.3L V6. Does anybody know where I can find not a supercharger but a turbo for this engine who makes it, what's it cost, ect, ect. But if anyone can tell me anything about this engine i would greatly apperciate your help.

Re: WTF is this?

A quad driver is an electronic switch inside the ECM which completes a circuit or group of circuits. Typically problems in this area are due to bad grounds, intermittent sensor/component failures although a few are due to bad ECMs

I have not turbocharged any cars thus cant help you. Aftermarket performance intakes, etc are hard to come by (I cant find any in Eddlebrock or Holley's catalogs.

As stock, the GM/ Buick 3300 is rated @ 160hp SAE net @ 5200 rpm @ 185 ft lb torque @ 2000 rpm. it is a derrivative of the GM/Buick 3800

I have been told with proper maintenance and the three speed tranny, the car is almost bullet proof and idiot proof.

If you want to turbo charge your car, you can always look in junkyards for cars with turbos on them. What you need is a boost controller, you need to retard the spark timing, you need a blow off valve, an intercooler, custom headers to go you the turbo charger, and it would ideal to twin turbo as there isnt much room under the car to fit the turbo after the rear exhaust manifold. if you were to twin turbo and have a higher boost, you would need low compression pistons, which may not be available for the 3.3 motor. I checked out vortech superchargers and the have universal kits, hich would be much easier. I also saw elctric superchargers that can put out up to 2 psi, it isnt much, but its better than nothing. Im going to try and experiment with making my own supercarging system. but i wont be doing it for a while yet. Ill keep you updated if i find anything.
