Spark pluggs

Dose the 1999 BMW 323i have spark pluggs. If so where are they located. I want to look and see if there is water in the cyilinders, because my car is overheating.

Does it sound like a diesel? Only Electric cars and Diesels don't have spark plugs....LOL. (just giving you a hard time).

Your car obviously has spark plugs....but are you referring to whether or not it has coilpacks?

Re: Spark pluggs

God! I hope you just ran it a little warm.... Water in the cylinders... possible head gasket, or cracked head or cracked cylinder wall...
all expensive...What makes you think this??? Is your engine missing ??? Later, Mark.

Re: Spark pluggs

Spark plugs have nothing to do with the car overheating. You would have to deal with your cooling system. But by your response you dont sound like a real car tech so you might wana take it to a dealer or a garage to get it checked out.

I want to check if there is water in the cylinders because I have not found any water in the oil or coming out of the exhaust. I have replaced all cooling system parts and still my car is over heating. Now the check engine light is coming on.

Bring it to Autozone. They have a OBD II scanner/reader. Great thing is...ITS FREE!
