E36 M3 or '98 Boxster?
Dad had a '97 Boxster for a while, chassis feels awesome, engine sounds great even though it only puts out 201 horse, the brakes and grip are also amazing. Now my mom is looking into another car [currently has a corvette], she saw a '98 Boxster and I mentioned the M3...I don't know what the maintenance is like on the M3's, I just know that they have excellent engines and suspension. Also, how do the '96+ models compare to the 3 liter '95? Thanks guys.

my M has been very reliable. only time it's seen the dealer is during scheduled check-ups. i own a 98 right now but back in '96 i had a 95 w/the 3.0 in it. i see little difference perfomance wise between the two. I just like the interrior(steering wheel, awesome seats, updated dash materials.) a lot better than my old one. LMK if you need anymore info.

I had a 97 M3 and I loved it. The M will give you a back seat and I would say cheaper maintenance, and you can make it every bit as fun as the Boxster.
