Tracker Won't Start

I have a 91 Geo Tracker. The engine turns over freely, and will start when I spray starting fluid in it. It will only run shortly until it burns of the fluid. The fuel pump relay under the dash is buzzing, so I replaced it. However, I now noticed that there is a clicking noise from the throttle body as well? Is there another relay, or what is causing this? Thanks.

Did you check the line and/or fuel filter?

is the fuel injector squirting fuel? fuel may be reaching it, but it may not be opening to spray out fuel.

Re: Tracker Won't Start

You're in luck - you have one of the model years with sub-quality Mitsubishi produced ECM's. Before you dump a bunch of money on a lot of parts have the ECM checked by a shop that specializes in them. A computer code reader won't tell you whether its bad, it has to be checked by a specialty shop. Good luck
