Hissing Noice coming from the consel?

Im having this hissing noise coming from the front of the consel, its sounds like sucking noice or a vaccum. Its like air vent sound, i thought it was the engine but its not casue when you increase the rpms the noise stays at the same level, so that is not the problem.

I recently replaced the stereo in my van and when Finnished realized I had a very noticeable hiss coming from the consel.
As easy as it is on these vans "Thank goodness" I unscrewed the "Heat control panel and long and behold one of the little air hoses was off the heater control.
I put it back on and it was fixed.... try that
