it means your cd player is shot! E20 is for an internal focus error, which means the lens isnt reading the cd's. These cd players are notorious for this. You can get it fixed but it will probably cost a fortune, unless youre still under warranty?

Re: error 20

How much does it cost to get it replaced. I have a 2000 grand am..I am getting an error message E 20...it ejects my CD's. I am not under warranty. Does anybody know about how much it will cost. Can it just be cleaned out or is there something shorted out or completely shot.
