Question S-10 P/U Bed repair question

well I own a 91 s-10 extended cab with a slightly less than par appearence. Who am i kidding its a rust bucket just a quick question about the bed. Are the pannells on the sides of the bed welded in or do they just pop out from the bed caps??? I dont wanna mess it up more by undoing the welds if there are any. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: S-10 P/U Bed repair question

The bedsides are welded on and they just don't pop off.As I recall when you buy new bedsides you get the inner(wheelwell) and outer. You drill out the spotwelds along the bedfloor(underneath)and the front and back ends so as to replace the whole side.
