i would say so too but is it factory ?????thats what i'm trying to find out....must of been done when car was built cause this number is on every part even on valve covers..alternator you name it...i thought it had something to do with keeping the car original....if you replace the windshield for example the number is not on the replacement windshield therefore, originality goes down one notch..same as t-bar glass...anyway thanks for reply.... |

Re: new member question??????????
i think you are talking about the production codes and the vin number. they are put on by the factory to keep track of the car and parts and to provide production information and such...

Re: new member question??????????
is it an SS???? like one of the really rare SLP cars, or one of the ones with the LT4 in it?? thats the only reason i can think of that even the valve covers would be numbered.

no its an LT1 fully loaded incl.leather it may be a production number but so far not many have come forward to say they have a similar number on their toy....G5208 is the number that my car proudly displays...looks like an acid etch in the glass (or a sand blast job)stamped on all the other parts.... |
