Re: engine swap

are asking in terms of going up to a v-8. i would say stick to the v-6. you will end up spending way more than you want to step up to an eight. unless you really like your car and just have to have a v-8, i would recommend selling the car and buying a v-8...

Well there is alot if u cant be without your car for a while don't do it.But if u really want to replace it with a v8 u will have to redo the suspension, with v8 springs and other things,a tranny that can handle the power, new driveshaft, maybe redo your rearend, redo the wireingharnes for a v8 so your fuel system and ignition will work, and there are things I might be levin out . So if u don't have the time and money it's better to by one with a v8 in it.

Re: engine swap

tranny and springs are the same if i recall correctly. driveshaft is the same, rearend is the same, only the controls are different. shell need a wiring harness, all sensors, V8 PCM and BCM, probly need a brand new BCM and have it reprogramed with the options the car is now equipped with. radiator, radiator hoses, intake system, fuel delivery, exhaust, and a few other bits and peices.
