I have an 89 K5 blazer. One morning i was having trouble starting it then eventually got it going and was on my way to work then out of nowhere the engine just stops. I got out checked my fuses and got back in the truck and it started again. I drove another 200 yards then it crapped out on me again. I found out the problem was im not getting any fuel into the throttle body. Yesterday I shot some starting fluid in there and not only did it start but it stayed running until i shut it off, and started back up when i tried again. Today my truck did not start at all. What could my problem be? fuel pump? fuel Filter? im not a mechanic but when the pump goes that means it wont run at all right? I desperatly need to get this fixed I have 2 jobs and school that i have to attend.
Can somebody help me PLEASE??? Thanx Eric Hyland |
