Question Noise / 2003 4-door Tracker

I have a 2003 4 door tracker. It has made a noise since about a month after I purchase it, a year ago. Sounds like high pitched rattle/squeek, gets worse on bumpy roads, any thoughts or has anyone had this problem? (hard to hear where the noise is coming from, but definately the front) Thanks! ~Colleen

My 2002 does the same thing sometimes. As I hit some bumps I hear a squeak from somewhere. I almost think its brakes without sound dampener ever applied on the back of the brake shoes or something like that.

Cool Re: Noise / 2003 4-door Tracker

My 2003 Tracker Squeaked All The Time Until I Replaced The Brake Pads On The Front. The Pads Have A Tab That Squeals When The Brake Pads Need To Be Replaced, When The Pads Are Worn Down. This Was After 60,000 Miles Of Wear On A New Tracker Before I Replaced The Pads. Hope This Helps You Out!
