Question TPS trouble code

I was recruited to repair my MIL's 96 Lumina 3.1L. She had blown her lower intake gasket. I finally got her to fire her regular mechanic when he told her she could keep driving it even though she had chocolate milk for oil. I've got the car running fine now, runs real smooth, good power. Problem is, the Check Engine Light is still on with 3 trouble codes all pointing to the TPS. While fixing it in the first place, I tested it and it tested fine. After getting it to run good, I had the codes scanned again and the same codes are coming up, so we opted to replace it. I still have the same codes throwing the light. The only operational problem I can see in the car is an occasional high idle which can be directly caused from the computer ignoring what it thinks is a bad TPS. I've confirmed 5V on the connector multiple times. Any suggestions?

Send a message via AIM to Kooterskkar
Check the wiring to it. Probably have a short somewhere.
