Sunvisor/garage opener

I tries to follow the procedure in the owners manual to program the garage door openors with my sunvisior. It seems to be programed but it does not operate the door. I have a 98 C230 and Gene garage door opener ( electronic codes ). Can anybody help. Thank you

I had a similar problem with my car but called the MB number and the technician walked me through. Just check the number in your manual.
