trying to turbo a non turbo 94 mr2

I have a 94 non turbo, am i better off buying a turbo engine then buy a turbo kit, like the greddy 11510011 or build my motor up then put the kit on??

To do the 3SGTE, you will need a bunch ofstuff beyond the engine (tranny, ECU, wiring harness, axles, etc ..)

As for turboing the NA, see here:

If you want a turbo MR2, I'd suggest buying a turbo MR2. If you are really attached to your car, then get the 3SGTE swap done correctly by buying a whole rear clip.

If you want to mod an mr2, sell your rare 94, and buy a pristine 91 turbo

umm...the original question is "can you turbo an NA? and would it be cheaper?" the answer to both is yes and yes..i fail to see how im sticking my foot in my mouth. you guys are just so closed minded to the 5sfte that its not even worth arguing with you guys? we dont rag on swappers..so i dont kno why u guys rag on us so much.

As Far as turbo charging the N/A, if you have time and the patients go for it. I'm not gonna say the 5SFE has no potential.I'll be honest your gonna run into drive ability issues though. I'd personally go with a rear clip (www.mr2warehouse.com) or finding a complete swap.
