d16z6 hydro clutch problem

I just replaced the transmission in my 93 civic coupe with a d16z6, i did not take off any of the hydraulic clutch lines at all just unbolted the slave cylinder from the tranny and moved it out of the way. Now that I have the new tranny in there and am hooking everything back up, i go and check that the clutch will work and the pedal goes right to the floor with no effort at all and it wont come back up unless you pull it up. Ive tried to bleed the system but still no luck, could somebody give me some info on this problem or have any solutions? Anything would be great, Thanks
