stupid question
How hard would it be to put a 300zx engine into a 4th generation Maxima? Do they have the same mounts or what? Any info is appreciated.
Thanks |

I think you would be askin for problems with a swap like that. I believe there have been several threads on Maxima.org concerning this topic and I dont think its possible. IMO, I would sell your maxima and buy TT 300zx (assuming you would have the money for this swap) just to save you the headache . Not that the maxima is a terribly bad car, the 300zx is just more sportier and fun to drive.

I would also have to say not to do this...too much money would be dumped to make this try and work...save up and buy a supercharger and some NOS...

Anything is possible but money is a factor. I'd do what NISSANSPDR suggested and get a turbo/supercharger/nos, something like that.
