2002 Cavalier
I blew up my factory speakers in the back...I bought some more 6x9's to go in there and i was replacing them and realized that it is 6x9s that came out but the ones i have don't fit into the holes properly. Anybody had this problem....
I am also wanting to change my lightbulb in my roof. Do they make different colored light bulbs...if so where would i get them? |

Re: 2002 Cavalier
The speakers will fit. You may need to adjust the fractory bracket to get around the larger magnets. If the magnets are really big you may need to drill holes on the deck and attach them with screws.
Pepboys sells the colored light bulbs you want.

Re: 2002 Cavalier
even with my alpine 5x7 speakers in the rear I had to drill and use screws to mount them

i drilled holes to hold the speakers up too. Its not that the magnets were too big, its the back brackets of the speakers were too big to fit into the holes.
I am also wondering about how to redo my interior. I want it redone in black and blue, any ideas on what to use, I want to avoid spray paint. everyone says to use that but i don't really want that, and i know i will have to have my car re upholstered..where could i get the dash and console and all that? |

Re: 2002 Cavalier
I put a pair of Kicker 7x10s (yes 7x10s) in the back of my cavy and i used a jig saw and carefully cut the back deck out. Be sure if u do that u dont hit wires or the rear window.
