Re: 1992 Regal- Cd player install.

Start pulling the radio out then unplug it when you have room to slip your hand in. There should be just barley enough slack.

The antenna plug on my 96 is not the standard motorola plug. You may need an adaptor if yours is smaller than the normal plug. As far as the plugs go, Ask an instal tech for a proper adaptor. You should just be able to attach a harness adaprtor to the wires of your new CD player then plug that into the factory harness. It probably fell into the dash somwhere if your still looking for it. I'm assuming you already have the original radio out..

Just in the process of the install on my buddies 93. The control unit/harness is behind the glove box. Juts take the kick panel on the pass side out and the liner from the glove box and it's accessible from there. I am having one problem though. The harness fits great and everythings good, but I can't power on the deck. I will be troubleshooting tonight with the old voltmeter.

Re: 1992 Regal- Cd player install.

PS. the antenna plug is also there. Basically, the stuff you took apart in the dash is useless...it just acts like a remote to the actual control unit.
