Chevy 3500 Air Conditioning Problem

The air conditioning will not blow full air through the air ducts. Cannot find any blockage. The heater air blows through great. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Just a thought. Do you have Cabin Filter's on the 3500? I know on my 99' 1500 there are some which I haven't changed yet. Just a thought maybe???

Also, does it matter floor, Floor/Vent, Defrost? Do they all produce low amounts of air??? Wonder if perhaps your fan switch might be dead not switching speeds???

The recycling button is on. It doesn't seem to change the effect depending on where the air flows out.

I'm not familiar with Cabin Filters. I will call and find out the answer to that one. The fan switch seems to work.

On the driver's side of the truck, I believe you unbolt the black cowling that's covering the heater area then the filter is in the middle. I haven't changed mine yet but, have a manual on how to do it...

If your trucks is newer than 2000 it will not. The cut back on a lot of thing for the 3500 since they consider it a work truck.

There are a few tps out there that talk about the vents pieces are not seal all the way.

Is it under warranty?

Not looking to good.

It is a 98 model. I was afraid that the improper seal was a possibility. I am going to look at the filter first.
