d16z6 or ZC????

I have a 93 Civic hatchback with a b15b7 and i'm thinking of swapping for more powerful motor but i'm not sure whether to use the 130hp JDM ZC or the 125hp d16z6 VTEC, I have no experience with motor swaps, I was wondering which is a better motor and which is easier to install.

Re: d16z6 or ZC????

You cant legally install a ZC motor into your car.

d16z6 or d16y8 both single cam vtec motors, lots of aftermarket parts, decent power.

Go with one of those.

ZC's are more fun, they have more torque..

Re: d16z6 or ZC????

not that much...single cam is more reliable with more parts.

Re: d16z6 or ZC????

Link isnt working GS, but the single cam is gonna do the job better and your gonna have more parts for it and it'll be easier to work on.

If you want a DOHC non vtec motor LS is the way to go.
