Unhappy Help Please!!!!!

I Have A 98 Aurora That Was Running Fine. This Morning Went To Drive Car I Have Power But It Won't Turn Over At All. Turn Key Nothing Happens. Computer Is Saying Clean Key Wait 3 Minutes. Can I Fix Myself Or Do I Need To Seek Mr.goodwrench????

try cleaning the metal of the key with rubbing alcohol and let it dry then try and start. Or you can try blowing compressed air into the ignition cylinder to blow any dust out

I had the same thing happen to mine. In my case cleaning the key didn't help. It turned out to be the ignition switch (I apologize for not recalling the cost of repair). Good luck

First of all, I want to say, compressed air is the greatest thing since regular air! If you ever want to clean out something without opening it completely, compressed air is unbeatable! Genius suggestion!
My dad's '93 STS comes up with the "...Wait 3 minutes" sometimes too. Those are the longest three minutes of your life! So annoying, I hate when that happens, but my Aurora has never come up with that message.
