removing rear speakers, help!
Hi there, how do you remove the plate that is over the rear speakers in the 2000 Dodge Neon?
Thanks! Tiff |

you have to pull the back seat out.
you pull up on the front of the back seat. This unsnaps one side then you do the other. This releases the whole seat part of the back seat. Then you unscrew the bolts that hold the seatbelt's buckles to the car. This releases the back part of the rear seat. pull up on the seat from the bottom towards the sealing. dont pivot the seat it should slide up and release. Once its loose and out you will see the mounting hardware that holds the speaker covers in place. remove them and the cover should slide out towards the front of the car. you have to mess with the seatbelt slots to get the belts free of the cover but they do come out. You now have full access to the speakers. Jam On
