|
smoke coming out from intake manifold
i got some light smoke coming out from underneath the intake manifold
and i don't know what the hell it could be, the car is making some wierd noise and i can't even describe it. but its coming from under the hood.

hm... maybe the gasket under the intake manifold is blown...
decribe the wierd noise???

you sure its coming from the intake manifold?!?! and not from underneath the maifold somewhere and it just looks like the manifold.
if it is for sure coming from the intake manifold: i said the gasket because even if something was smoking, it should not escape from under your intake manifold...that should be sealed tight (where smoke cant come out). im thinking blown gasket..which would cause the pressurized air to be pushing out the little crease making a wierd noise. makes sense to me...

its not the back turbo leaking oil onto the manifold by any chance? did you get your turbos done young?

im thinking rear turbo, I would check the rear IC pipe for a lot of oil.

A few "bolt on" mods, a couple "cut, smash, hammer, weld, etc" mods, and a couple "why the hell do I need this/what the hell is this" weight reductions.

if the blades are hitting the turbo housing it would be a metal on metal sound.
