Passing Ca Smog Checks

I recently got a fix it ticket for having a swap motor, and at the same time its about time for my smog check. Does anybody know of a smog station that will pass me if I pay a little extra? I live in Oakland, CA

Thanks

if you got a ticket, you'll have to go to the state ref, which won't pass you if you have a JDM engine. If you have a USDM engine, they will test it and pass you and give you a little sticker. You can't have a regular smog station pass off on a swap.

in California its illegal to change the type of engine in your car unless you have it certified by the State Ref.

and oh yeah... this sounds like a trap to me... if I had a friend who did illegal test passes, I wouldnt tell the whole world about it.
