Question 2002 GT - Automatic Headlights on too long

When the light switch is set to Auto, the lights seem to come on to soon, as if the sensor is getting covered with dust or something. Does any ony know where the light sensor is that tells it to turn the lights on? Or do these things just act up once in a while?

Okay, Thanks for the info. I need to check to make sure dirt and dust aren't covering it up. I keep the dash dusted off and clean, but I guess I'm just missing that little spot.
